A faux mink fur line in leopard, lynx and fawn-spot prints is now offered to apparel and accessory makers, giving coat,
hat and scarf producers a realistic animal-print look without natural fur sourcing.
The base is a high-pile faux mink with a dense, soft handfeel that carries the weight and drape expected of mink-type
fabric while staying light to wear. Print detail is the selling point: leopard rosettes with clearly defined dark centers on
a warm tan ground, the smoky grey-brown marbling and dark ticking of lynx, and the cream-on-chestnut spotting of
fallow deer.
Typical applications include outerwear — coats, jackets, vests and parka trims; headwear such as bucket hats, beanies
and trapper hats; scarves and stoles; and detailing on collars, cuffs and hems.
