It is well known that after the COVID-19 in 2020,  sea freight has skyrocketed, resulting in a significant increase in the purchase cost of our foreign customers. 

Fortunately, most of our order prices are based on FOB terms, and only those in the United Kingdom and Australia Customer, the price we made is CIF price. 

In May of 2021, our faux fur factory received a 20 foot container order from one UK customer. 

The customer ordered 11,000 meters of microfiber suede and 5000meters various of  artificial fur Fabric including :jacquard imitation artificial leopard fur ,

 jacquard imitation dalmation fur , plain color fake monkey  fur/ hair, plain color  faux rabbit fur , plain color faux sherpa fur…

before COVID-19, from China Shanghai port to the FELIXSTOWE port of UK,  The sea-freight of the 20 foot container  is only USD800- USD1000, 

but this time when the goods are ready,  at the time when we started to book the container , the sea freight increased to USD9300,

it is really a crazy sea freight in past 23 years !

Since our order is made under CIF terms, The sea freight has completely exceeded the profit of our order,

We promptly report this situation to our British customers who have cooperated for many years, hoping to get the customer’s understanding and help. 

After consultation with the customer, the customer agrees to help us bear the USD4200 ocean freight.

Although our profits have suffered losses, our pressure has been greatly reduced. At present, we are positively booking the container, determining the loading time, and shipping the goods to our British customers as soon as possible. 

But we really want to know, such a sky-high sea freight When will the fee end?
